About Me
Having studied Creative Music Technology at the University of the West of England, I am a passionate about sound and audio technology. Focusing my dissertation on Musique Concrete and field recording practices in addition to audio post production and game audio modules, I am drawn to creative uses of sound to create atmospheric environments and worldbuilding through sound design.
Since graduating, I have self published an EP which focused on sampling as well as working alongside the UWE foundry games studio as the lead sound tech and assisting a producer as an audio engineer recording live video performances for their YouTube channel.

Professional and University projects
Audio Post Production:
Audio Post Production final year assignment: I recorded and arranged foley sounds to an animation found online. I Composed the score to fit the theme as well as recording ADR.
Audio Engineering
A playlist of sessions I participated in as an audio engineer for Astral Sessions: Tasks included analysing the bands technical specs and deciding a suitable microphone setup, placements and I/O settings for a clean session in logic.
Assisting in sound checks, balancing the levels on the mixing desk to prevent clipping artifacts and communicating with the producer via talkback to achieve these aims.
Monitoring the recording while the bands were performing and communicating with them after to extract the best recording possible.

Third year composition assignment, exploring creative sampling and audio editing techniques
Used as an artifact for my dissertation and explored ideas inspired by the principles found in Musique Concrete, Elektronische Musik and Soundscapes/Drone.
Another exploration of sampling techniques after uni, taking inspiration from old movies and tv. the idea being to resemble an audiable “collage” of sound influences
